Road: Stane Street to Chichester along the line of Kennington Road before it divides, the Chichester road going along Clapham High Street and the other going along Brixton Road and Tulse Hill towards Brighton. Watling Street to Canterbury cut across the borough.

Settlements: Possible buildings around Lambeth Palace area.

River Thames: Some Roman objects found in the river.

Although several main Roman roads pass through the borough, the most important thing has been the remains of a Roman boat, found sunk and lying on the foreshore at County Hall.
